Chicken Curry In Cooker

Hi friends, here i am showing the recipe of tasty chicken curry that we can made very easy in cooker. Hope you will like the recipe.If you like my video, please subscribe to my channel.


  • 1.Chicken(cut into small pieces -1 kg
  • 2.Onion(chopped into small pieces) -3 nos
  • 3.Tomoto(cut into small pieces) -1 nos(big one).
  • 4.Green chillies -5-6 nos
  • 5.Garlic cloves(chopped) -4 nos
  • 6.Ginger(chopped) -2 inch piece
  • 7.Red chilli powder -1 teaspoon
  • 8.Turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
  • 9.Coriander powder -1 teaspoon
  • 10.Pepper powder -1/2 teaspoon
  • 11.Chicken masala -3-4 teaspoon
  • 12.Chicken stock cube(optional). - mix it in 1/4 cup of hot water.
  • 13.Salt as required - 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoon
  • 14.Coconut oil -2 tablespoon
  • 15.Curry leaves&Coriander leaves - 2 springs
  • 16.Water as required - 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup
  • 1.Chicken -1 kg -( For marinating:)
  • 2.Red chilli powder -1 teaspoon
  • 3.Kashmiri chilli powder -1 teaspoon
  • 4.Turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
  • 5.Coriander powder -1 teaspoon
  • 6.Chicken masala -2 teaspoon
  • 7.Pepper powder -1/4 teaspoon
  • 8.Ginger garlic paste -1 teaspoon
  • 9.Lemon juice or vinegar -1 teaspoon
  • 10.Salt -1 teaspoon - Mix all items and marinate for 30 minutes


Heat the cooker,add 2 tablespoon coconut oil,add chopped ginger&garlic

and saute then add onion,1/2 teaspoon of salt,some curryleaves and

green chillies and saute it for 2-3 minutes.Add masalas one by one

in low flame along with add the chicken stock and mix well.Then add

tomoto and mix it.Add 1/2 cup of water and cook it for 2-3 minute in

medium flame.Add the marinated chicken pieces,mix it and cook for

2 minutes.Place the cooker lid and cook till 1 whistle in low flame.

When the vapour goes out open the lid,add water and salt if required.

Cook till the chicken curry gets to boil.Add curry leaves and coriander

leaves.Add a little coconut oil(optional).Switch off the flame.

chicken curry is ready to serve.
